  I ordered the fish platter, and wasn't disappointed my wife and daughter's tried the vegetarian options. The food was great, I would recommend you visit The Lamb Inn.

  I took my wife and mother for lunch in March. The decidedly dippy waitress knocked over a full pint into my lap. At which point she slowly ambled off to get tea towels to deal with the puddle of beer I was sitting in. I should add that I am very understanding about this sort of thing, I know accidents happen. So this review is not one star because I had a pint spilled on me. What rendered me somewhat peeved was the waitress’s lack of apology and inexcusably slow reaction to the situation at hand. Instead of running off and fetching me tea towels I had to ask her if she could get something to mop up the beer. The waitress very kindly offered to remove the beer, that she had poured into my lap, from the bill and pour me a fresh pint. At the end of the meal I thought it fair to ask if the manager would kindly pay to have my jacket dry cleaned as it had not escaped the path of the beer, but the waitress insisted that she foot the dry cleaning bill. At first I had put the lack of apology down to reticence but I assumed by offering to pay for my dry cleaning this was her way to make amends. She gave me her telephone number and told me to text her after I’d had my jacket cleaned with the cost. She neglected to write down the correct number of digits. I telephoned the manager of the pub, Dave, who also kindly gave his word that he would foot the bill. I’ve sent Dave two emails with the receipt and called for him twice but I am yet to receive a response two months on.
  
  On top of this the food was mediocre.

  Excellent food, with the best Gluten Free menu that I've come across since a trip to Australia in 2015. Dog friendly which was a requirement for us, with a welcoming biscuit for the dog as well. Friendly staff. All in all a very good experience.

  Very accommodating. The roast potatoes were amazing and the whole place was alive with a very friendly atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and left you to enjoy your meal.
