  We go to Samphire three or four times a year, and usually on Monday's 'locals night' which is good value and always makes for an enjoyable evening. It's also excellent for a full a la carte meal but you need to plan ahead if you want to get in Friday/Saturday, especially during the season.

  The food was average. The Veal was not cooked well and some other dishes were very salty.
  The service was poor. It took over an hour to get our main courses. Our server missed one of the meals off our table. He did not charge for that plate but the food was then rushed and not cooked well. He also served mutiple tables at once so our table wasn't fully cleared before the next course and at pudding he served other tables between serving our pudding resulting in some of the table waiting a long time while other had finished their before it arrived.
